In spring 2023, Jennifer led a six-month campaign to support Oak Lodge Water Services (OLWS) in educating customers about significant rate increases to help fund a new tertiary treatment facility and address deficits in the sanitary sewer collection system.
Jennifer provided a strategy of transparency to OLWS to gain public trust amid the rate increases. She supported the development of easy-to-understand bill inserts, postcards, and newsletter content. Key messaging explained in simple terms the project drivers and the long-term benefits of the capital investments.
She became a trusted advisor to OLWS’s communications staff. Additionally, Jennifer designed and facilitated two trainings on key messaging for OLWS staff and leadership promoting consistent messaging of capital improvement topics to stakeholders.
