Benioff Homelessness & Housing Initiative
Jennifer served as communications strategist at the Benioff Homelessness & Housing Initiative (BHHI), a cutting-edge organization whose mission is to provide policy-oriented research on homelessness to local, state, and national policymakers and practitioners.
Jennifer joined the team shortly after its creation to build a communications program to amplify the organization’s research to inform policy on homelessness and housing.
Jennifer served as a communications advisor to BHHI Director, Margot Kushel, MD, regularly preparing her for interviews with the media and for public speaking engagements.
Jennifer worked across departments to help various Principal Investigators translate their complex research into concise language for digital content and media consumption. She played a key role in conceptualizing a new website. She was vital to defining BHHI’s brand, shaping its narrative, tone, and aesthetic. Today, the organization continues to build on the foundation Jennifer established.
